The Leem ('Lim') Family.

You know, I may not have the perfect family where everything is all rosy. Each of us have our own little eccentric ways-eg. my mum (Lisa Ang-not the actress but my mum was super gorgeous when she was young..i dare say even prettier than lisa ang from TCS) is a bit of a drama queen; my sister (Michele (note the single L) Lim Lan Fern) is this uber act cute geeky doctor who takes pleasure in every free time to mug; my bro (Malcolm Lim Tao Ming ) is kinda like a pauper who spends like a prince and lastly my pa, is a very eccentric fella.


Let me show u several aspects of how 'socially challenged' my pa is-

Walking hand in hand with my dad from Wheelock underground to Lido, my dad gave a thumbs up right in front of the face of a busker who was strumming his guitar.
The busker said 'this song is for you!'
My dad guffawed loudly.
I wanted so badly to run away to hide but he held onto my hands tighter!

Then, outside Lido Macs, my dad launched into a critic session on the outfits youngsters are wearing these days. Basically just people watching, people bitching.
Pa: eh ser, u see that one (he pointed!) , wah damn sexy. You think?
Me: err...no. Poor fashion sense. All the colours clash.
Pa: Wah how about the other one? (he pointed at a tall and elegant girl with polka dotted dress)
Me: Not bad.
Pa: Wah...u see that one..so FAT.

The story of my dad can go on. Many of my friends have even witnessed his ways. He may be queer, he may be a little aggressive, intimidating (especially the way he raises his eyebrows, and make his big eyes even more pronouced) and rude, but I still love him and I know he cares alot for me. So do the rest of them=)
