How I Spent My Weekend ..(my version, not 8 days')
To sum up with one word-Hectic. The weekend was packed starting on Friday. Km and I went supermarketing at 3 am in the morning as I anticipated not having the liberty of using the car over the weekend to run my errands. I swear it wasn't funny finding mango chutney from the myriad food shelves of Mustaffa. Not knowing where to classify mango chutney under the 'jams' or 'condiment' didn't help the situation either. haha. But nevertheless, we managed to buy all that we needed for the Sunday's SNGS graduation party.
Saturday afternoon was spent preparing some sauces to compliment my all time favourite chicken quesadillas for Sunday's party. A yummy dish that I'd learnt from my housemates while exchanging in Denmark. With loads of time and effort put into making the dish, I found myself hastily dolling myself up for the Graduation night for Seniors at Ritz Carlton. Not that being late for the prom wasn't bad enough, I actually got stuck inside Suntec City's carpark for more than an hour -circling round and round for parking lots and getting deceived by the number of so called 'vacant lots' when in actuality they were reserved for VIPs. wadeverrr.

A nice photo taken my km while posing at the reception table. Disclosure: This was after 10 layers of DI processing.
Thank God the night was saved with good food, ambience, meeting up and taking photos with some friends whom I'm going to miss upon leaving SMU. Oh, and guess what? Km won a lucky draw! The most embarrassing thing was that I thought the lucky draw was mine since we placed both of our ticket tabs side by side. I was too exhilarated to realise that. That's because these past few times we've been very lucky and blessed enough to win some really nice prizes from luck draws. Really a windfall of blessings. Km, being the sweet bf, saw me happily claiming his prize and claiming his glory. hahaha.Sorry km....but guess what, the estee lauder's in my hands now!

So, Sunday came and there I was rushing around like a chambermaid the moment I woke up. Chop onion, slice chicken, fry ingredients, last minute grocery shopping and what have yous. Blessed with fine weather, the party in the evening went really well. An interesting crowed we had with km, jeremy and I bringing our own friends together. A well mix of personalities and everyone made friends in the midst of good food and booze. To km, jay, ryan, kenneth, Jeremy, edwin, shu, hoi, pat, mag, reina, poh hwee, zhen , desmond, elgin, rajiv and allen -thanks for making this party a success and a pleasant one. Loads of perspectives to churn out on this one.
Zhen, looking resplendent, poised and elegant. Rock on, cool girl!
